U.S. Admits Israel Into Visa Waiver Program

Israel has become the 41st country to enter the U.S. visa waiver program, and travel to/via the U.S. has now become much easier for those with Israeli biometric passports.

The waiver is applicable for tourism or business trips to the U.S., which are up to 90 days in length.

Israeli biometric passport-holders will be able to pass via the U.S. and connect easily to the six EL AL gateways in JFK, EWR, BOS, MIA, LAX and FLL (FLL-launching Apr 2024).

Going forward, Israelis will only be required to fill out an Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA) form, several days before embarking on their trip.
