Important information about travel to the U.S.
← Back January 29, 2021
Dear partner,
The United States government has made decisions that may affect the travel of the customers you serve.
As of January 26, 2021, the United States government is requiring proof of a negative COVID-19 test or recovery from COVID-19 for all air passengers arriving in the United States from another country. This also includes U.S. citizens and legal permanent residents 2 years of age or older.
Travelers must get tested no more than 3 days before their flight to the U.S. departs. Proof of the negative result or documentation of having recovered from COVID-19 must be provided to the airline before boarding the flight. Please refer directly to the airline’s website for more information, as the process for providing proof may vary.
The requirements above were correct as of January 21 and may be changed by the United States government on short notice.
Please ensure travelers impacted are informed of these new requirements as soon as possible.
If travelers wish to cancel or amend their booking, there are two scenarios:
- Refundable bookings: you can service these requests yourself using the ‘change reservation’ button on the itinerary page (see more details here).
- Non-refundable bookings: As the name suggests, these bookings are inflexible and travelers won’t get any money back. To request to cancel a non-refundable booking, please contact Agent Support.
We are grateful for your business. We hope you and your family stay safe and healthy.
